This week in Vault I read articles on Super Bowl ads. These ads provided me with insight on why the Super Bowl is the top event for marketing and advertising agencies. One factor that makes Super Bowl ads appealing to consumers is the incorporation of celebrities, who grab our attention. From these articles, I began researching the neuromarketing behind advertising. I have yet to start notes on these, but from what I have read, I have learned that there are different aspects of our brain that connect us to certain ads. Also, one of the sources gives a layout to a sales pitch. My plan for Mardi Gras break is to research as much as possible because this is a great opportunity to research and reflect on my own time.
