  • Topics are too broad if stated in 4-5 words 
    • Important to add words and phrases like conflict, description, contribution, and developing to your topic 
  • Best way to begin working on your topic= formulate questions that direct you to information 
  • Answering “so what?” vexes all researchers

  • What are the different methods of marketing? What methods have been proven most successful for certain businesses?
